Universities of Wisconsin (UWSA)
The Universities of Wisconsin Office of Capital Planning and Budget provides assistance to the Board of Regents, the campuses within UW System, and UWSA's institutional partners with capital planning, budgeting, and architectural/engineering services. GIS is used at UWSA primarily to reconcile UW System assets with the facility inventory database of record, but it is also tied to real estate and other documents for easy access, used to analyze land ownership statistics, used for providing mapping services for Board of Regents and State Building Commission actions, and shared to UW system campuses via online map services.
